How much are the sessions and how long do they go for?
Assessment Sessions- are 90 min and cost $350 (inc GST).
Therapy Sessions- cost $235 (inc GST), and last for 50 minutes.
Payment options include Eftpos at the Clinic, or you can be emailed an invoice with payment options (online banking) as well.
Who do you see in your practice?
I see teenagers, parents, and adults in my psychology practice.
What if I miss an appointment or have to cancel?
If you need to cancel the appointment please let me know as soon as possible via text, email or mobile. Unfortunately if the cancellation is within 24 hours of the appointment time or if you miss an appointment, a 50% rate will still be charged due to costs of office space and time.
Is my information private and confidential?
Yes. What we talk about is confidential information. I can not pass on any information about you to other people without your consent.
However, there are three important limits to confidentiality:
-If the psychologist thinks their client is at serious risk of harming themselves or someone else
-If required to by a court of law
-If it is an emergency situation and they are unable to contact the client to gain consent
In each of these cases I will make every reasonable effort to inform you if I was going to break confidentiality.
Do I need a referral?
No you don’t need a referral at all. Anyone can come and see a private clinical psychologist.
Do you see ACC sensitive claims clients?
Not at the moment.
